A little on the expensive side but we'd go again. No food on site, but good pubs & other options nearby. There were very few teenagers for summer holidays & the children roamed quite safely on the empty pitches around us. If youre looking for a caravan holiday in Cornwall with plenty to do right on your doorstep, look no further than White Acres caravan park. The walk through the woods to the beach is pleasant & much safer than the road but took us 20 mins with a 5 year old & all the beach clobber. Sun Haven also has a number of pet friendly vans available. The beachfront and most surrounding establishments are very pet friendly so you can bring your dogs if you so wish.

The toilet block is a little dated but kept very clean and the facilities are very good - campers fridge, ice-pack freezers, microwaves(20p), pizza oven, laundry, inernet computers & general wi-fi across the site ( no TV signals though - regulars seem to take those portable satellite dishes). The sandy beachfront of Mawgan Porth is a short 15 minute walk away from the site, only a level 3/4 mile from the campsite to the shoreline. Silence at 10.30pm actually works on this site & the owners was quite abrupt with anyone who was noisy or out or order - the 2 couples who woke us up when they came back at 3am were ordered off the site before 9am.

All within the holiday park grounds, but away from all the camping pitches & self-catering accommodation. The holiday park has lots of recreation space, with goals for playing football and plenty of space for other activities such as flying kites. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed within any of our self-catering accommodation.
